Today in the computer lab we will be visiting and exploring the United Nations Cyberschoolbus . Please use the the links, games, and information portals to familiarize yourself with this site. In the weeks to come, we will be completing a number of activities connected to this site and sites similar to this one in an attempt to become "World Changers and Difference Makers". One of the first activities we will be completing is to answer the burning questions:

I think that I, a grade 7, can change the world by helping familys in poverty. I think that poverty should change in the world. What I can do to make a difference is donate food and clothes at any chance I get to food drives and the Salvation Army.

I thought that the United Nations Syberschoolbus link so very interesting. The other links to other websites were very interesting aswell.
Now for the burning questions.
1.I a gr.7 can make a difference donating money to these fondraisers.
2.I think the world should change our opinion on others and all the poverty, child labor and starvation there is all over the world.
3.I can go to the school and help out with projects around the school because the school is in the middle of building a school in Africa.

As a grade 7 student I can make a difference in the world by helping organizations and charitys! So I can change that there is enough food and water in the world! Also to help save the enviorement! By doing little things by our selves like helping others and taking care of our environment! We could also get involved by signing up to help like a local food bank!! and looking on a web site to see if there is any activities you could get involved in!!

As a grade 7 student, I think I can change the world by helping people who are poor. I can do this by donating food, clothes, toys and money to people less fortunate than me. I can also change the world by helping conserve the environment. I can do that by recycling, not littering and participating in the litterless lunches at our school.
