
Today was our first health lesson on nutrition in Grade 8. I was encouraged by the thoughtful insight provided in your conversations and on you "stickies". Your busy lives and active lifestyles put demands on your nutrition and I am glad we had an opportunity to share some ideas and strategies for helping fuel our bodies as best we can. As we discussed, this isn't always the easiest thing to do. I am including some links to Canada Food Guide Serving Trackers for both boys and girls ages 9-14 for you to use at home. I am also icluding links to the Canada Food Guide website for you to take a look at.
Also, check out the Heath and Fitness links in the sidebar. We will be using these in class. Next week on Day 6 we will be back in the gym doing volleyball.
