Our next unit in math will be 2D and transformational geometry. You will receive a hand out today with important definitions and vocabulary for this unit. The first concept I would like you to be familiar with is the Cartesian plane or Coordinate plane.
Below are your tasks:
- Today in the computer lab you will use the links below to help research the origin of the Cartesian plane and then you will play some on line games to become familiar with this mathematical concept.
- Click on the following links to practice graphing points on the coordinate plane. For each game you are going to rate it based on the following: directions, difficulty and enjoyment.
- Record your ratings and definition in a word document and print it out with your name on it. Hand it in to me to be recorded. Enjoy!
