This text makes me feel sad for all the people that have died, but it also makes me feel very lucky that we have people who are willing to protect our country and also help protect people in other countries.

After reading that page of the article it made me realize how forunate I am to live in a country with no war and that i am not living on the street out in the cold and that my parents have good that jobs and they can feed, clothe me and but a roof over my head. When I think about war it makes me sad to know that alot of the soliders die out there but I am astounded at what bravery the soliders have to go out and risk there lives everyday knowing that they might not make it to bed that night! I am soo lucky to live in such a wonderful country! :) - Em110
Soccer2 and Em110 pretty sum it up on how fortunate we are to live in this free country and lucky we are to have soliders who are willing to protect us and other countries even if it means risking their own lives!

Sad. It makes you realize how people feel who know someone in the war. It also makes me understand how brave my Grandpa was when he was in the war.
The text makes me feel upset for all of the people who risked their lives in order for our country to be safe. It makes me hope that I don't have to go through this or any of my family memebers. I wish it could just stop. At the same time I have respect for those who have gone to fight for our country to be safe. We are so luckey to have people like those who fight and want us to be safe.

After watching these videos, i realized how fortunate we are to have a all th epeople willing to risk their lives for us. I also felt a little sad, watching these soldiers fighting for us made me realize hoe lucky I am to be living in Canada and not being in the war.

In an ideal world there would be no war and nobody would have to go out and make the sacrifices that Canadian soldiers have to make. Unfortunately this is NOT an ideal world. There is war and hatred. The article and videos not only made me feel sad and sympathetic for the soldiers missing their family and risking their lives but it made me feel thankful that, even if we don't live in a perfect world with nothing but peace and love, at least we have men and women out there willing to fight and die to TRY and bring us one step closer towards an ideal world.

i think we are very luck to live in a country were we have food to eat and a roof to live under, and when i think about the the people who live were there are wars going on or wether in the war it makes me feel sad.

Dear mr.speer,
I tell myself I will not cry whene I listen do to songs like this but i cant help my self when I listen to songs like that it's not just a song it's real and it happens still today it'a hard not to think about what if you were in that situacion missing someone and how proud you are that that person is out there helping people saving lives.The text makes me feel so sad but I am happy that there are people that will put their lives on the line to protect others.
